Warrior Studios: an introduction

Warrior Studios, a collective of visual artists, currently standing at 12 artists, was founded in the late 1980s in a railway arch in South London.

The artists are currently: Jane Campbell, David Degreef-Mounier, Phil Dobson, Hugh Gilmour, James Alec Hardy, Jez Jacobs, Jeremy Jeffs, Gary Kempston, Duncan McAfee, Michael Rodgers, Pauline Smith, and Federica Dalla Vecchia.

We work individually in the full range of genres, styles, materials and techniques. This collaboration, What Has Been Done Cannot Be Undone, is not only a way of finding how these can be incorporated in one artwork, but also how we, with such different languages, can communicate. This blog is just one manifestation of this.
